The caverns of our lives often can be represented by symbols--and I have attempted to do that similarly to petroglyphs. The copper is metal paint that turns beautiful blues and greens when patina is applied. Accented by a darker copper in the descending squares, this piece is truly lovely.

I love the contrasts, textures, and colors of this contemporary Mountain. It also looks great horizontally, and I have gently signed it both ways. The painting is done over texture with an acrylic paint that has a great deal of metal in it. It is then treated with patina to change the metal color, and enhanced with pastels. Framed in a gold and black float frame.

A larger Quadruvium with deep red accented by turquoise and coppers. Small petroglyph style images decorate the face of the painting. In addition to Native American images, a Seed of Life from Sacred Geometry can be seen as well as triskelion similar to those on the rock in Ireland. Fine line work decorates the asymmetrical sides and edges in gold, coppers, and turquoise.
