Contemporary Southwest Art, Abstract Mixed Media, Shaman Painting "Quadruvium XCI” by Arizona Contemporary Artist Pat Stacy

A larger Quadruvium with deep red accented by turquoise and coppers. Small petroglyph style images decorate the face of the painting. In addition to Native American images, a Seed of Life from Sacred Geometry can be seen as well as triskelion similar to those on the rock in Ireland. Fine line work decorates the asymmetrical sides and edges in gold, coppers, and turquoise.

Abstract Mixed Media Painting, Mystical Figure Art "Confianza" by Contemporary Arizona Artist Pat Stacy

This is another in the Metamorphosis series, characterized by the warm colors accented by deep green, copper, and stamping. This is a large painting, 72" tall. It has a deep box of 2.5" . The sides are very well finished, and no frame is needed. The Entity has the light of the Creator touching the shoulder, and the light of the Creator also enters in the descending golden squares. Energy seems to surround the Entity, flowing from the spiral at top right. Confianza means confidence in Spanish.

Southwestern Art,Contemporary Art, Mixed Media, Abstract Art Painting “Textures 1” by Arizona Artist Pat Stacy

I played when I painted Textures. It was such fun to put the texture on, and let the metal paints and patinas go in and out of the grooves. I highlighted the work with the pastels and other acrylics. These are my favorite colors---they are so organic in their look. The painting makes me smile.
